ALL CHURCH ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

May 3, 2021

In light of a recent COVID outbreak among the church family, the Elders have decided to suspend all church activities until further notice. Please know that we do not make this decision lightly. Please stay tuned for possible zoom meetings.

We encourage you not to let these circumstances negatively affect your spiritual rhythms. Our website has great resources for your encouragement. Be sure to check them out under the "Grow" tab.

We covet your understanding, your support, and most of all, your prayers as we respond to this unprecedented set of circumstances.

Love you guys!

PRAYER SUGGESTIONS

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

As believers, we have the authority which Christ has given us to pray against the spread of any disease and to pray for healing for those who have COVID.

  • Praising God for His sovereignty. He still is and always will be in control of all things. Pray that we will trust Him to help us navigate this time.

  • Pray for comfort and healing for those stricken with this virus. Christ is our healer!

  • Pray for the protection and safety of those unaffected.

  • Pray for peace, calmness, freedom from fear, anxiety, and panic among the church family.

  • Meditate on the Word of God:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." (Psalm 56:3)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” (Psalm 55:22)

“Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

“Then he placed his right hand on me and said: 'Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.'” (Revelation 1:17)

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” (Romans 8:38-39)

“The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.”(Zephaniah 3:17)

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”…He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.  You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you…For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways…“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.  He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him…” (from Psalm 91:1-16)
